freedom from fear
Jun. 25th, 2012 09:40 pmI never realized just how big the sky was.

An Eagle Nebula of clouds. A few minutes before I took this picture, so before I found the camera, there were rays of light to the right of this shot.

Zeus is flipping us pathetic humans off.

A robin, silhouetted against the sky.

After the storm. The sky is a strange color.

Our boa constrictor squeezing herself through the grill of the shelf. She did it on her own. I had to help her through it. Yes, that's the Boston Herald, doing the only thing it's good for.

There was a towel in the door to keep them from sticking their hands out. Unfortunately, they just grabbed the towel. It's sort of in there with duct tape now. Or maybe it's space tape, a space-age polymer that looks and feels like duct tape, but it's not. Very advanced stuff.
There was a rock in the sink, probably to prevent them from getting into it and clogging the sink with their fur clumps.
Famous last words:
"Egypt is not Tunisia."
"Syria is not Egypt."
"Sudan is not Syria."
Accept no concessions. Only revolution.
I'm not sure what's going to happen. On one hand, Sudan's army is smaller than Syria's army and they're dealing with three insurgencies. If you can't be peaceful, you know who to contact. On the other hand, Sudan's army is a bit more seasoned than Syria's. Insurgencies, instead of just dick-waving with Israel.
And to Omar Bashir, may you attain all that which is your due.
Burning Question: What music defines summer for you?
