I remember a topic on Selectbutton, in which members go through the Super Mario Bros. rom with a hex editor (Mac users, you can use TextEdit. Windows users, I can't tell you.), insert random garbage, and post the more interesting results (a level with green stripes, the title screen in monochrome dark blue, Mario's head on upsidedown, black and white and slightly glitchy, et cedera). The advantage is that SMB is simple, and most of the time, you'll get something at least as playable as Action 52.

Telebunny has a Megaman thread and one of the members was playing a dirty cartridge of Mega Man 4 on a dirty NES, and the text is all weird and romhacky. The mans are named Zing Min, Live Min, Skull Min, Phizioh Min, Jzight Min, Toil Min, Lzill Min, and Lust Min.

So, I'm wondering if it would be at all possible to replicate that dirty cartridge in an emulator.

I also wish there was a gif of the washer vs. dryer race on the Simpsons. Instead, there's just a still image.

Chinchillas are from the Andes and Atacama and have exceptionally thick fur, with maybe 50 hairs per follicle. It's hard for them to dry their fur out so they're prone to fungal infections when they get wet. You hear that, Toad Man? You'd actually be useful if Dr. Wily or Dr. Light was crazy enough to make a Chinchilla Man. They are superficially like rabbits.

These are the differences between rodents and lagomorphs.
1. Rodents have a penis bone (so do most primates, actually. Humans lost it because at some point, probably very early on because it's not that impressive in great apes, we decided keeping your penis erect by engorging it with blood is more attractive. Sexual desire is a strange thing sometimes) and lagomorphs do not.
2. Lagomorphs have four upper incisors, rodents have two.
3. Lagomorphs are purely herbivorous, rodents aren't. Most of the time, anyway.

She says that spinoffs are rarely good, except for Final Fantasy Tactics. Her favorite of the FF series is VII and didn't remember much of XII. I loved XII and as far as VII goes, it's a flawed execution of an awesome concept.

One of the raccoons was grasping for the trash can with his paw. And playing with the towel. I'm not sure if they managed to grab the towel from under the door while the interns were removing the tape and rocks, or they just had the towel as a distraction. I had no batteries, so no pictures. Sorry.

Here's why Fox should be purged from the airwaves and replaced with Al Jazeera or something. Simpsons isn't in syndication. Not at its normal time. The Simpsons is on at midnight because apparently FOX thinks the target demographic is unemployed college graduates. I know I really shouldn't care because I checked a schedule and they're going to play the 500 Keys, which they played about twice recently, and The Fight Before Christmas, which I said was a horrible thing to do to us at the end of August. In fact, I think the 500 Keys was the last episode I watched in syndication. It's just what we need, yet another fifth-rate Daily Show, some more courtroom shows that aren't starring Judge Dredd or Judge Gabranth, ten hours of FOX News, and six hours of talk shows.

Fuck youuuu, Divorce Court! If I wanted marital strife, I'd watch The Room.

I have a theory. FOX knew the Simpsons was the only thing anyone watched, even if they did play the same twenty episodes ad nauseam, so they put Dish Network in that time slot so that people would record that instead of the Simpsons.

If only I knew someone who worked for the local FOX affiliate. Then we could lock ourselves in and broadcast the Soviet National Anthem for twenty-four hours.

Anyway, because I can't access Fox 25 schedules from this time last year or five years ago...
Burning Question: did FOX make a rapid nosedive into craptitude or was it always this bad?
